2022年プランターでのジャガイモ栽培まとめ【その１】/Summary of Potato Cultivation in Container

2022年のプランターでのジャガイモ栽培のまとめです。

This is a summary of potato cultivation in container in 2022.

2月23日：植え付け/Planting on 23rd February

プランター06には、1/2サイズの種イモ３個のうち、１つは切り口を上に、２つは切り口を下にして植え付けました。

I planted two 1/2-size seed potatoes with the cut surface facing down and one with the cut surface facing up in the container 06.

3月20日：発芽（植え付け26日目）/Sprout on 20th March (26 days after planting)

切り口を下にした種イモもから、切り口を上にした種イモと同じように発芽しました。

Potato with the cut surface facing down sprouted as well as the others.

４月2日：芽かき（植え付け39日目）/Thinning on 2nd April (39 days after planting)

プランターのジャガイモの芽かきをして、種イモ１個につき、芽は2本残しました。

切り口を上にした種イモは、芽の数が少ないと予想しましたが、極端に少なくなることはないようです。

I thinned out the sprouts of potatoes in the containers and left two sprouts per potato which was good for health.

Although I guessed the number of the sprout of potato with the cut surface facing up is fewer than  the cut surface facing down, this was almost the same as that.

４月9日：1回目土寄せ（植え付け46日目）/Earthing up on 9th April (46 days after planting)

１回目の土寄せをしました。

高い株で、草丈が20cm程度です。

プランターなので、植え付け前に取り出した土の追加になります。

I earthed up potatoes in the containers.

The highest plant  is about 20 cm in height at the time.

I added the soil which was removed before planting to container.

４月23日：2回目土寄せ（植え付け60日目）/Earthing up on 23rd April (60 days after planting)

2回目の土寄せをしました。

I earthed up potatoes in the containers again.

５月15日：様子（植え付け82日目）/Condition on 15th May (82 days after planting)

葉っぱが、青々と繁っています。

所々、虫食いが発生しています。

The plants are in full leaf. 

On the other hand, there are some an insect-eaten leaves.

6月4日：収穫（植え付け102日目）/Harvest on 4th June (102 days after planting)

植え付けから、102日後、ジャガイモを収穫しました。

葉っぱは、やや黄色がかったところでしたが、翌週も雨予報だったため、収穫しました。

Potatoes the container were harvested 102 days after planting.

These leaves were not enough to get yellowish yet, but I harvested them because the weather forecast said it rain next week.

1/2サイズの種イモ３個で、まずますの収穫量です。 大きさは、どちらかと言うと小ぶりでした。

The number of 1/2-size seed potato were three in the container, but it was also enough amount to harvest. The size was little bit small.

今年のジャガイモは、以上です。

クウシンサイの発芽/Sprout of water spinach

2022年6月26日、本日の最高気温は36.2℃、最低気温は25.9℃です。

Maximum temperature is 36.2℃ and minimum temperature is 25.9℃ on June 26th, 2022.

内容/Content

1.発芽：クウシンサイ、青シソ/Seeding:Water spinach and Green perilla 

2.結実：ナス/Bearing fruit: Eggplant

1.発芽：クウシンサイ、青シソ/Seeding:Water spinach and Green perilla

クウシンサイと青シソが、種まき後、約１週間で発芽しました。

Water spinach and Green perilla sprouted 1 week after seeding.

2.結実：ナス/Bearing fruit: Eggplant

ナスが、植え付け後、約60日で、ようやく、ナスが結実しました。

シソの種まき/Seeding of Red perilla and Green perilla

2022年6月19日、本日の最高気温は25.4℃、最低気温は19.9℃です。

Maximum temperature is 25.4℃ and minimum temperature is 19.9℃ on June 19th, 2022.

内容/Content

1.種まき：赤シソ、青シソ、クウシンサイ/Seeding:Red perilla, Green perilla and Water spinach

2.土寄せ：長ネギ/Earthing up: Scallion

3.花：トウモロコシ/Flower: Corn

4.収穫：赤シソ、ニラ/Harvest: Red Perilla and Garlic Chives 

1.種まき：赤シソ、青シソ、クウシンサイ/Seeding:Red perilla, Green perilla and Water spinach

ジャガイモの収穫跡地に、赤シソと青シソ、クウシンサイの種を蒔きました。

I seeded red perilla, green perilla and water spinach in the place where potatoes were  harvested.

2.土寄せ：長ネギ/Earthing up: Scallion

長ネギが大きくなってきたので土寄せしました（プランターなので、土の追加）。

土は、分岐しているところまで追加ました。

I earthed up scallion in the container again as it got bigger.

I added soil up to the point where scallion stalk were diverged.

3.花：トウモロコシ/Flower: Corn

３本あるトウモロコシの１本から、雄花が咲きました。

雌花はまだです。

One corn among three has male flower, but female flower not yet.

4.収穫：赤シソ、ニラ/Harvest: Red Perilla and Garlic Chives 

シソ、ニラを収穫しました。

I harvested red perilla and garlic chives.

ナスの摘果/Pruning Eggplant

2022年6月11日、本日の最高気温は25.4℃、最低気温は19.9℃です。

Maximum temperature is 25.4℃ and minimum temperature is 19.9℃ on June 11th, 2022.

植え付けから、43日後、ナスの一番果を摘果しました。

The first eggplant fruits were pruned 43 days after planting.

6月になって、緑が濃くなってきましました。

My tiny garden is getting greener and greener in June.

プランターのジャガイモの収穫/Harvest: Potatoes in the container

2022年6月4日、本日の最高気温は25.6℃、最低気温は15.8℃です。

Maximum temperature is 25.6℃ and minimum temperature is 15.8℃ on June 4th, 2022.

内容/Content

1.収穫：ジャガイモ/Harvest: Potatoes

2.収穫：シソ、ニラ、アスパラガス/Harvest: Red Perilla, Garlic Chives and Asparagus

3.定植：トウモロコシ、つるありインゲン/Planting: Corn and Vine Type Green Bean

植え付けから、102日後、プランターのジャガイモを収穫しました。

葉っぱは、やや黄色がかったところでしたが、来週も雨予報だったため、収穫しました。

Potatoes the container were harvested 102 days after planting.

プランターの１つ目、種イモは、1/2サイズ１個でしたが、結構な量がとれました。

大きさは、どちらかと言うと小ぶりでした。

The number of 1/2-size seed potato were three in the second container, but it was also enough amount to harvest.

The size was little bit small.

最後、地植えスペース、種イモは、1/2サイズ４個、こちらもまずますです。

The number of 1/2-size seed potato were four in the ground planting space, but it was also enough amount to harvest.

結果、種イモ４個から、今年は、↓この量のジャガイモが収穫できました。

Totally, I harvested the following amount by four seed potatoes!!

2.収穫：シソ、ニラ、アスパラガス/Harvest:Red Perilla, Garlic Chives and Asparagus

シソ、ニラ、アスパラガスを収穫しました。

シソは、ナスの周りで、いつのまにか大きくなったものです。

I harvested red perilla, garlic chives and asparagus

Red perilla getting bigger around the eggplant.

今シーズン４本目のアスパラガスです。

たいぶ、細くなってきたので、これで、今シーズンは最後かもしれません。

This is the fourth harvest of asparagus this season.

It was a little bit thin. I guess it would be last harvest in this season. 

3.定植：トウモロコシ、つるありインゲン/Planting:  Corn and Vine Type Green Bean

ジャガイモを収穫した後、トウモロコシとつるありインゲンを定植しました。

トウモロコシは、種まき66日目、種まき36日目の定植となりました。

I planted corn and vine type green beans after harvesting the potatoes.

Corn were planted on the 66 days and the 36 days after seeding.

つるありインゲンは、種まき21日目の定植となりました。

Vine type green beans were planted 21days after seeding.

プランターでのトウモロコシとつるありインゲンの組み合わせのコンパニオンの完成です。

Companion plants in container consisted of  corn and vine type green beans is completed.

ナスの一番花/First flower of Eggplant

2022年5月29日、本日の最高気温は31.2℃、最低気温は16.6℃です。

Maximum temperature is 31.2℃ and minimum temperature is 16.6℃ on May 29th, 2022.

内容/Content

1.花：ナス、キュウリ、ナスタチウム/Flower :Eggplant, Cucumber and Nasturtium

2.萌芽：アスパラガス/Sprout: Asparagus

3.収穫：ニラ、ナスタチウム/Harvest: Garlic Chives and Nasturtium

1.花：ナス、キュウリ、ナスタチウム/Flower :Eggplant, Cucumber and Nasturtium

定植から30日、ナスが一番花をつけました。

Eggplant came into first bloom 30 days after planting.

キュウリも、定植から30日、一番花をつけました。

Cucumber also came into first bloom 30 days after planting.

ナスタチウムは、種まきから60日後、花をつけました。

Nasturtium came into bloom 60days after seeding.

2.萌芽：アスパラガス/Sprout: Asparagus

アスパラガスが萌芽しました。

Asparagus sprouted.

3.収穫：ニラ、ナスタチウム/Harvest:   Garlic Chives and Nasturtium

ニラとナスタチウムを収穫しました。

ニラの収穫は、２週間に１度のペースです。

I harvest the garlic chives, and nasturtiums.

Garlic chives are harvested once every two weeks.

つるありインゲンの発芽/Sprout :Vine Type Green Beans

2022年5月22日、本日の最高気温は25.9℃、最低気温は14.0℃です。

Maximum temperature is 25.9℃ and minimum temperature is 14.0℃ on May 22nd, 2022.

内容/Content

1.発芽：つるありインゲン/Sprout :Vine Type Green Beans

2.収穫：ニラ、ワイルドベリー/Harvest:  Wild strawberry and Asparagus.

種まきから１週間で、つるありインゲンが発芽しました。

種が大きかったことあり、逞しい芽がでています。

Vine type green beans were sprouted  one week after seeding.

The sprouts are larger and looks strong because of large seeds.

2.収穫：ニラ、ワイルドベリー/Harvest:  Wild strawberry and Asparagus.

ワイルドベリー、アスパラガスを収穫しました。

I harvested the wild strawberry and asparagus.

今シーズン3本目のアスパラガスです。

This is the third harvest of asparagus this season.
