ジャガイモの植え付けをプランター01、プランター06、地植えスペースに行いました。
I planted potatoes at container01, container06 and ground planting space.
内容/Content
１．種イモの準備/Preparation for seed potatoes
種イモは、男爵芋にしました。
４個が、我が家の近所で手に入る最小の数量です。
これ以上の数だと植え付ける場所がないので、この個数がちょうどいいところです。
The seed potatoes are "Irish Cobbler potato" in this year.
I bought four seed potatoes."Four" is the smallest quantity which I can buy in my neighborhood.
The quantity is suitable for my gardening space.
それぞれ、縦切りにして1/2サイズにします。
I cut the center of potato to create 1/2-size seed potato.
切り口に草木灰をまぶします。
乾燥させる方法もあるそうですが、今のところ、この方法です。
I sprinkle wood ash over the cut surface.
２．プランター01/Container01
ジャガイモは、種イモの上にイモができるため、プランターでは、土寄せ用に、植え付け前に土を出しています。
Before planting, I remove soil temporarily because it is difficult to earth up potatoes in restrict space.

プランター01には、1/2サイズ１個を切り口を下にして植え付けました。
I planted one 1/2-size seed potato with the cut surface facing down in the container 01.
３．プランター06/Container06
こちらは、初めて使うプランターのため、最初から土は少なめにしており、そのまま植え付けます。
Soil was less from the beginning because I use this container for the first time.
プランター06には、1/2サイズ３個のうち、１つは切り口を上に、２つは切り口を下にして植え付けました。
切り口を上にすることが、程よいストレスとなり、抵抗性が高まるそうです。
また、芽の数は、少なくなるので、芽かきの必要はないそうです。
I planted two 1/2-size seed potato with the cut surface facing down and one with the cut surface facing up in the container 06.
Upside down of the cut surface receives an appropriate level of stress, and become immnue from the disease.
Moreover, it is said that we don't need to thin out the sprouts because the number of sprouts will be fewer.
４．地植えスペース/Ground planting space
こちらも同様に、土寄せ用に土をだしました。
Before planting, I remove soil temporarily as well as the container01.

地植えスペースは、1/2サイズ４個のうち、２つは切り口を上に、２つは切り口を下にして植え付けました。
I planted two 1/2-size seed potato with the cut surface facing down and two with the cut surface facing up in ground planting space.
