ブロッコリーとレタス（サニーレタス、フリルレタス、サンチュ）を植え付けを行いました。

アブラナ科のブロッコリーとキク科のレタスは、コンパニオンプランツとして、以下の効果が期待されます。

I planted the broccoli and the lettuce (red leaf lettuce, frillice lettuce, Korean lettuce).

Broccoli of the Brassicaceae plant and lettuce of the Asteraceae plant are expected to have the following effects as companion plants.

2.種まき：ダイコン、ニンジン/Seeding:Carrot and Daikon

ダイコンとニンジンの種まきを行いました。

アブラナ科のダイコンとセリ科のニンジンは、コンパニオンプランツとして、以下の効果が期待されます。

I seeded daikon and carrot. 

The radish of the Brassicaceae plant and the carrot of the Umbelliferae plant are expected to have the following effects as companion plants.

I seeds daikon in the red circle and carrot seeds in the blue frame to surround the daikons by the carrots.

2022年プランターでのアスパラガス栽培まとめ/Summary of Asparagus Cultivation in Container

2022年のプランターでのアスパラガス栽培のまとめです。

2022年は植え付け2年目、1年目の様子はこちらです。

This is a summary of asparagus cultivation in container in 2022.

2022 is second year after the planing. The record of the first year is this one.

4月16日/on 16th April

プランターの右側は、冬の草を抜かず、そのままにしました。

I didn't removed weeds in right side of the container in order to conduct an experiment whether sprouting in such bad condition.

雑草が、覆い茂った右側から、太くて立派な芽ができました。

Asparagus sprouted in right side where weeds grew up a lot.

4月23日 1本目収穫/First harvest on 23rd April

萌芽から約１週間、アスパラガスの高さが20cmになったので収穫しました。

雑草に囲まれながらも、力強く大きくなりました。

As the asparagus became 20 cm in height about a week after sprouting, I harvested it. 

Although it was surrounded by weeds, it has grown powerfully.

5月7日 2本目収穫/Second harvest on 7th May

今シーズン２本目のアスパラガスの収穫です。

This is the second asparagus this season.

5月13日 3本目萌芽/Third sprout on 15th May

３本目が萌芽しました。

Third shoot sprouted.

5月22日 3本目収穫/Third harvest on 22nd May

今シーズン3本目のアスパラガスの収穫です。

This is the third harvest of asparagus this season.

5月29日 4本目萌芽/Fourth sprout on 29th May

４本目が萌芽しました。

Fourth shoot sprouted.

6月4日 4本目収穫/Fourth harvest on 4th June

今シーズン４本目のアスパラガスの収穫です。たいぶ、細くなってきました。

This is the fourth harvest of asparagus this season. It was a little bit thin. 

9月11日/9th on September

４本目の収穫後、次の芽が萌芽しましたが、すぐに枯れてしまい、その後の萌芽はありませんでした。

来年も収穫できるか心配です。

After the 4th harvest, the next shoot sprouted, but it withered and there was no further shoot.

I'm worried if I can harvest next year.

クウシンサイの収穫/Harvest of Water Spinach

前回の収穫から約２週間、脇芽からニョキニョキ伸びてきました。

今年のクウシンサイの栽培は終了です。

About two weeks after the last harvest, as axillary buds are growing steadily, I harvested the water spinach.

Cultivation of the water spinach was finished with in this season.

ニラも、少々収穫しました。

I also harvested some garlic chives.

2.状況：ナスタチウム/Condition:Nasturtium

7月10日に剪定したナスタチウムが復活しました。

なかなかの生命力です。

Nasturtium pruned on 10th, July has sprouted again.

It's pretty vital.

ナスの収穫/Harvest of Eggplant

2022年9月11日、本日の最高気温は28.3℃、最低気温は21.3℃です。

Maximum temperature is 28.3℃ and minimum temperature is 21.3℃ on September 11th, 2022.

ナスを収穫しました。

今年は、秋ナスとして２本、夏に１本だったので、合計３本と不作でした。

不作の原因は、連作障害の影響かと思います。

合わせて、赤シソも収穫しました。

今年のナスと赤シソの栽培は終了です。

I harvested two eggplants.

Totally, 3 eggplants were harvested in this year, two were in the fall and one was in the summer.

I guess the continuous crop every year caused  the small amount of harvested eggplant.

I also harvested red perilla.

Cultivation of the eggplant and red the perilla were finished with in this season.

クウシンサイの葉に所々に、虫喰いが。。。よく見ると侵入者！

There are some insect-eaten leaves of the water spinach. . . 

Watching closely, it's an invader!

オンブバッタです。

厳密には、いただけで、葉っぱを食べているかどうかわかりません。

It's a grasshopper.

Strictly speaking, I don't know if he is eating leaves or not.

2.状況：ナス/Condition: Eggplant

ナスの実が、大きくなってきました。

 The eggplant fruit is getting bigger.

3.土寄せ：長ネギ/EARTHING UP: SCALLION

長ネギは、徐々に枯れていき、残り２株となりました。

前回の土寄せから、約１か月、長ネギの土寄せしました。

The scallion gradually withered and two plants remained. 

I earthed up the scallion in the container again one month after last earthing up.
