ベランダでの野菜作りのスペースとして、ウォールハガーという商品を購入しました。

設置場所は、北側の手すり側です。背の高い野菜であれば、AMは陽があたりそうです。

前の家から持ってきたニラと新しくかったニラを植え付けました。

左ニラは前の家。　中央のニラは新規購入。

今後、シソとナスを育てる予定です。

ドングリ_ミニツリー_マテバシイ

2022年に発芽した2年生のマテバシイを新しい鉢に植替えを行いました。

引っ越し

2023年2月、引っ越しました。

新しい家は、団地の６階、東向き部屋です。

と言う訳で、ブログのタイトルを「Urban Gardening TinyLab」から「東向きベランダ産野菜」に改めました。

ベランダは、↓こんな感じです。

前の家のプランターは、すべて持ち込んだので、徐々に、野菜作りを再開したいと思います。

ドングリ_ミニツリー_ミズナラ

 2022年に冬に水栽培で発芽したドングリを鉢に植え付けました。

ダイコンの収穫/Harvest of Daikon

2023年1月21日、本日の最高気温は9.0℃、最低気温は3.2℃です。

Maximum temperature is 9.0℃ and minimum temperature is 3.2℃ on January 21st, 2023.

種まきから約110日、ダイコンを収穫しました。

ほとんど直射日光が当たらない場所なので、やや小ぶりのダイコンができました。

こればかりは、どうしょうもない状況です。

I harvested Daikon about 110days after seeding.

Since it's a place where direct sunlight hardly reaches, these were slightly smaller.

It is just an no avoidable situation.

この時点では結構大きなダイコンを期待/My expectation to Daikon was high just before the harvest

７〜８cm程度のダイコンを収穫/7-8 cm in length Daikon

ドングリの水耕栽培のまとめ/Summary of growth the acorn by water culture

ドングリの水耕栽培に挑戦した記録です。 

It is report to try to grow the acorn by water culture.

2022年10月16日/ On November 16th, 2022

近所の公園で、ドングリを拾いました。

I picked the acorns in park close to my house.

拾ったドングリ（銀杏を含む）/Gathered acorn including ginkgo

一晩水に浸けて、浮いてきた実は、取り除きました。

虫喰いドングリは、浮いてくるそうです。

I got rid of some floating nuts which were soaked in water overnight.

2022年11月12日/ On November 12th, 2022

一晩水に浸けたドングリから根が出ていたので、空き瓶を使って、ドングリの水耕栽培を始めました。

As the acorns that had been soaked in water overnight had roots, I started hydroponic of acorns in an empty bottle.

蓋の部分は、簡易的に、防水紙を円形に切って、中央に穴をあげて、ホッチキスで止めて、ドングリが落ちないようにしました。

I cut the waterproof paper into a circle, made a hole in the center, and fixed it with a stapler to keep the acorns from falling out in order to make the lid.

11月19日（水耕栽培開始８日目）/ On November 19th, 2022(8days after the start)

根が4cm程度になりました。

The roots became about 4 cm in length.

11月27日（水耕栽培開始16日目）/ On November 17th, 2022(16days after the start)

根が10cm程度になりました。

The roots became about 10 cm in length.

12月4日（水耕栽培開始23日目）/ On December 4th, 2022(23days after the start)

芽がでました。

ドングリの殻が割れて、実が二つに割れています。

It sprouted. The shell is broken and the fruit split in two.

12月17日（水耕栽培開始36日目）/ On December 17th, 2022(36days after the start)

ドングリに葉がつきました。

実が割れていますが、順調に育っています。

Leaves of acorns which have been grown hydroponically are budding.

Although the fruit has split, it is growing steadily.

12月29日（水耕栽培開始48日目）/ On December 29th, 2022(48days after the start)

葉の色が濃くなって、いい感じになりました。

目の前で、生長するドングリをみて、生命の力強さを感じました。

The leaves color has gotten deep green and it looks nice.

I felt the strong vital energies when I saw the growing acorn in front of my eyes.

ブロッコリーの蕾/Broccoli bud

2022年12月17日、本日の最高気温は10.1℃、最低気温は5.6℃です。

Maximum temperature is 10.1℃ and minimum temperature is 5.6℃ on December 17th, 2022.

植付けから、約80日、プランターのブロッコリーに蕾がつきました。

この蕾は、頂花蕾（ちょうからい）というブロッコリーの食べる部分です。

収穫が楽しみです。

Broccoli in the container begin to bud about 80 days after planting. 

The bud is the edible part. 

I am looking forward to harvesting it.
