ナスとキュウリの苗を購入し、それぞれ定植しました。

I planted store-bought seedlings of eggplants and cucumbers respectively.

ナスは、ニラの育てているプランターとワイルドベリー・コケモモを育てているプランターに定植しました。

I planted the seedlings of eggplant to the container which garlic chives are cultivated in and the container which wild strawberry and Lingonberry are cultivated in.

ニラの育てているプランターに定植。

写真の奥にニラがいます。また、おまけで、シソの種の蒔きました。

キュウリは、ナスタチュームと長ネギを育てているプランターとジャガイモとナスタチウムを育てているプランターに定植しました。

I planted cucumbers to the container which nasturtium and scallion are cultivated in and the container which potatoes and nasturtium are cultivated in.

ジャガイモが花をつけました。

3.収穫：ニラ、ワイルドベリー/Harvest: Garlic chives and Wild strawberry

ニラとワイルドベリーを収穫しました。

ワイルドベリーの味は、酸っぱいの強い甘酸っぱいでした。

I harvested garlic chives and wild strawberry.

The taste of wild strawberry was between sweet and sour, and if anything stronger sour taste.

プランターのスナップエンドウの「うどん粉病」/Snap peas suffering form "powdery mildew" in the container

プランターのスナップエンドウに、「うどん粉病」が発生しました。

"Powdery mildew" has occurred on the snap pea in the container.

4月9日の状況/Condition on 9th April

スナップエンドウの葉っぱが白っぽくなっています。

うどん粉病のようです。

うどん粉病には、食用酢が効く記事を見つけたので、食用酢を約20倍に薄めて吹き替えました。

The leaves of snap pea are whitish.

It looks like "powdery mildew".

As I found an article that edible vinegar is good at getting rid of powdery mildew, I diluted edible vinegar about 20 times and sprayed it.

4月16日の状況/Condition on 16th April

4月9日に酢を吹きかけたあと、もう一度吹きかけました。

１週間後、部分的に白い部分が消えました。

この日も酢を吹きかけました。

After spraying vinegar on 9th April, I sprayed it again.

The white spot on the leafs disappeared partly after a week.

I sprayed diluted vinegar on this day as well.

4月23日の状況/Condition on 23rd April

２週間後、完全に元通りになりました。

酢の効果は、絶大でした。

酢は、近所の百均で買ったものを使いました。

Two weeks later, it was completely recovered.

The effect of vinegar was so great.

I used the vinegar which I bought at the 100-yen shop in my neighborhood.

プランターのアスパラガスの収穫等/Harvest of Asparagus in the container

暖かくなってきたせいか、植物が元気です。

萌芽から約１週間、アスパラガスの高さが20cmになったので収穫しました。

雑草に囲まれながらも、力強く大きくなりました。

As the asparagus became 20 cm in height about a week after sprouting, I harvested it. 

Although it was surrounded by weeds, it has grown powerfully.

2.土寄せ：ジャガイモ/Earthing up: Potatoes

植え付け後60日目、プランターのジャガイモの２回目の土寄せをしました。

葉っぱが、青々と繁っており、順調です。

Sixty days after planting, I earthed up potatoes again in the containers.

These plants are in full leaf.

3.栽培終了：スナップエンドウ/The end of harvest :Snap peas

悪天候の日が、スナップエンドウが折れました。

被害も大きかったので、ここで、今年は断念。

残りもすべて収穫しました。

Strong wind caused the broken snap pea. 

The damage was too big to continue to cultivate. 

I harvested the rest of snap pea.

プランターのアスパラガスの萌芽ほか/Sprouting of Asparagus in container etc.

2022年4月1６日、本日の最高気温は20.2℃、最低気温は8.0℃です。

暖かくなってきたせいか、プランターが賑やかになってきました。

1.発芽：アスパラガス、トウモロコシなど/Sprout:Asparagus, Corn etc.

2.結実：ワイルドベリー/Fruitage:Wild strawberry

3.収穫：スナップエンドウ/Harvest :Snap peas

まずは、植え付け後２年目のアスパラガスです。

プランターの右側は、冬の草を抜かず、そのままにしました。

Firstly, Asparagus which was planted last year sprouted.

I didn't removed weeds in right side of the container in order to conduct an experiment whether sprouting in such bad condition.

雑草が、覆い茂った右側から、太くて立派な芽ができました。

Asparagus sprouted in right side where weeds grew up a lot.

続いて、トウモロコシは、種まき後、約17日で発芽しました。

３ポット中、２ポットで、各ポット１本づつ芽がでました。

Next, Corn sprouted 17 days after seeding.

Each one plant sprouted in two pots. But there is no sprout in other one pot. 

続いて、長ネギは、種まき後、約17日で発芽しました。

ポツポツと発芽しています。

Next, Scallion sprouted 17 days after seeding.

最後に、続いて、ナスタチウムは、種まき後、約17日で発芽しました。

Next, Nasturtium sprouted 17 days after seeding.

2.結実：ワイルドベリー/Fruitage:Wild strawberry

ワイルドベリーは、葉っぱがかなり繁ってきました。

よく見ると、小さな実がついています。

Wild strawberry are growing think in the container.

And it has a lot of small fruit.

3.収穫：スナップエンドウ/Harvest :Snap peas

前回の収穫から約１週間、まとまった数がとれました。

Snap peas were harvested a lot in spite of harvesting last week.

冬に種を蒔いたスナップエンドウが、今週、ようやく収穫できました。

４株なので、量はありませんが、美しいスナップエンドウが収穫できました。

Snap peas which was seeded last winter were harvested in this week.

Although it is a little bit difficult to harvest enough amount because of only 4 plants in containers, I could get good-looking snap peas.

プランターのジャガイモの土寄せ1回目/1st Earthing up potatoes in the containers

2022年4月9日、本日の最高気温は23.8℃、最低気温は10.1℃です。

植え付け後46日目、プランターのジャガイモの１回目の土寄せをしました。

草丈は、一番高くて20cm程度です。

プランターなので、植え付け前に取り出した土の追加になります。

Forty-six days after planting, I earthed up potatoes in the containers.

The highest plant  is about 20 cm in height at the time.

I added the soil which was removed before planting to container.

プランターのジャガイモの芽かき/Thinning out the sprouts of potato in the containers

2022年4月2日、本日の最高気温は12.9℃、最低気温は3.6℃です。

Maximum temperature is 12.9℃ and minimum temperature is 3.6℃ on April 2nd, 2022.

植え付け後39日目、プランターのジャガイモの芽かきをしました。

種イモ１個につき、芽は2本残しました。

切り口を上にした種イモは、芽の数が少ないと予想しましたが、極端に少なくなることはないようです。

・切り口下：芽の数４〜７本

・切り口上：芽の数４〜５本

Thirty-nine days after planting, I thinned out the sprouts of potato in the containers and left two sprouts per potato which were good condition.

Although I guessed the number of the sprout of potato with the cut surface facing up is fewer than the cut surface facing down, this was almost the same as that.
